Philosophy
My name is Katherine Harrison. I love goats, good parties, and sharing my passion for agriculture. I find great beauty in animals — both inside and out. The circle of life informs my values as a farmer. I aspire to lift up the beauty of animals throughout their journey, as part of my commitment to show respect for these amazing creatures.
Items
The skulls, bones, hides, and feathers which I market are all from animals which were part of Harrison Farm. My products tend to look a bit rougher in their natural state, as I do minimal cleaning. After breaking down in a compost pile, the skulls & bones are then weathered & sun bleached by nature. I do a gentle hydrogen peroxide bath, and sometimes a gentle bleach bath to clean items. Because these items are biological, they can evolve. I am always glad to provide guidance on touching up items as they age. We can provide bulk quantities for artists or collectors seeking specific pieces.
Looking to purchase ethically-sourced skulls & bones from Harrison Farm Visit our Farm Stand on Sunday afternoons 1-4pm May through September! Or, come see us at the Oddities & Curiosities Expo!
